Daily: 24/7/365
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. - Ephesians 2:10
In the book of James Chapter 1:22-23, we are reminded that it is not enough to simply hear the Word, but we must also be doers of the Word. As such God calls us all into service. Everyone is equipped by the Holy Spirit with spiritual gifts to be a blessing in the Kingdom of God. We the officers, members, and embassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ believe that the Lord has given each believer spiritual gifts or talents. The believer has the responsibility to use these gifts to serve the Lord with "good works". These "good works" are a response to the blessing of salvation, as well as, to the daily blessings we receive from the Lord. Mt. Calvary's ministries represent our collective efforts to respond to God's blessings by doing Christ's work.
If you are not sure of your spiritual gifts, we invite you to take this on-line spiritual gifts test for free and find out where God would have you utilize your gifts at Enon. Click here to take the (Spiritual Gifts test) and a list of our ministry opportunities below.

Jesus said, "Whoever welcomes you, welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me, welcomes the One who sent me" (Mt. 10:40).
The Ushers Ministry of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church are the first individuals seen when entering the church and play a very important role in setting the stage for worship and praise. Each time the church meets the usher greets both members and visitors alike, with a welcoming smile, a handshake, and then escorts them to their seat.
Also, they are responsible for the distribution of the program, bulletin, bible, fans and to assist in the offering during the services. The ushers of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church perform their duties and consider it an honor to be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord as they usher in people to serve and praise. They are of the conviction that service to each other is an integral part of a healthy church. The individuals that play an active role in this ministry are proud to be called door persons in the house of the Lord. If you have any interest in becoming a part of this wonderful ministry please see an Usher. They will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. |
