The next scheduled classes of the MCBC Leadership School is Saturday, September 11 @ 8:00am.

The COPP Program (Certificate of Progress Program)assures us of offering quality Christian Education. This is a national accredited curriculum of the Sunday School Publishing Board – Nashville, TN. The COPP Program is a series of courses and studies that will be offered year round. The courses are designed for all Sunday school teachers, superintendents, preachers, lay leaders, members, friends, and interested persons of Christian Education. This is an excellent opportunity for serious students of the Bible to increase their academic skills and their biblical knowledge. Each member of the church and the public is encouraged to enroll for a modest fee in this on-going study of God's Holy Word.

THE VOICES FOR CHRIST CITY-WIDE CRUSADE wrap-up meeting will be held on Thursday, September 23 at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church from 6:30 - 8:00pm.

The Voices for Christ City-Wide Crusade is sponsored by the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with the aide and assistance of the 'HBMA' of Utica & Rome and the 'Rome Clergy Association'. In addition we are blessed to partner with many friends across the city and nation under the umbrella of "Honor America Days". The event was held Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. at Griffo Park in Rome, New York. The event was filled with lots of fun, food, laughter, gospel music, the claiming of "God’s Holy Word", a Health Fair, employment opportunities, a baby contest, Christian Idol Talent Show, games and prizes. There were over 2200 hundred in attendance.

The Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Youth Ministry will be offering a holy alternative for our youth and children in lieu of the pagan hoopla of 'halloween' on Saturday, October 30. "Hallowed Be Thy Name" night will offer the perfect evening of joy and celebration for our children, youth, and young at heart. Come and bring your children and/or youth and experience the Joy Of Christian Fellowship and fun. There will be Prizes, Games, Fun, Preaching, and Singing. The youth ministry will journey to the pumpkin farm and each member will have an opportunity to pick their own pumpkin. A movie will be shown to culminate the evening.
