PASTOR AND SISTER JACKSON 'S ANNIVERSARY

PASTOR AND SISTER TOMMY RAY JACKSON'S 22TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding". - Jeremiah 3:15 will be held We will be blessed to celebrate our Pastor and Sister Jackson's 22th Anniversay on SUNDAY, JUNE 10. Rev. Hobert Yates will be our special guest for the 11:00 a.m. service. The event will be culminated with a 4:00 P.M. service. Come and join us in the A.M. and/or P.M. Services.

LAYMEN MINISTRY

Mission: 1. To enlist and coordinate the manpower of the local congregation for an effective performance of essential Christian activities. 2. To cultivate the Christian life of laymen through study, worship, fellowship and service. 3. To enlist un-churched men for fellowship in and service through the church and to bring unsaved men into vital relations with God in Christ through personal commitment to Him. 4. DIACONATE MINISTRY

"Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. MT. CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH ACADEMY

The first meeting of the MT. CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH ACADEMY was held Tuesday, March 17, 2009 @ 6:30pm. The purpose of the meeting was to review plans and it marked the initiation of the first historical academic and after school ministry within the church.
